I've got a solo exhibition open currently at BravinLee programs:
I'm also giving at artist's talk on Saturday, October 1 at 4:00 pm.
I will discuss the conflict between the Red Soil Boys and the Uncles, the organization of both of their societies (one "sophisticated and enlightened", the other tribal and nomadic), their larger context in his imaginary world of Refractoria as well as some of the real-world catalysts that were kneaded into the drawings.

If you'd like to check out a few reviews of my last show, THE BATTLE OF THE INVOKED IMPOSSIBILITY: Furthur Adventures in Refractoria, here are some links: a Wall Street Journal write up from Peter Plagens; John Haber from Haberarts.com, and the Sixty Hotels blog also climbed into the morass of Refractoria.
